Cinemanic Films, a small film startup in California, needed a logo for production cards at the beginning or end of their film projects. The logo also needed to be flexible enough that it could work in other applications.
The client was looking for a logo that expressed the same style as their film making — gritty, stark, and maybe just a little out of control. The logo needed to be primarily designed for use on a black background.
By making the logo a simple white on black, we ensured a high-contrast look that would stand out in the few seconds it would appear on the screen.
